The caravan kicked off its Meru County tour at the bustling Gakoromone open market. It then traversed the scenic Meru slopes, making a notable stop in Mitunguu, where more customers were delighted with rewards.

Highlighting the company’s commitment to enhancing customer experience, Bernard Muhindi from Safaricom shared, “Our shop in Meru attracts a high number of customers, and on average, they take about 40 minutes to receive service.
To address this, we are opening alternative service points.” His sentiments were echoed by Peter Muchangi, Head of Strategic Execution at the CEO’s Office, who noted, “Tumekuja kuwapa Christmas mapema wafurahie tukiungana nao.”
In a collaboration between Safaricom and Royal Media Services, the caravan also provided fans of Muuga FM with the rare opportunity to meet their favorite presenters, adding a personal touch to the celebrations. For many, it felt like Christmas had arrived early.
The six-day excursion through the Mount Kenya region is far from over. The caravan is set to visit Runyenjes, Embu Town, Kutus, Kerugoya, Kagio, and Mwea, ensuring that more communities get to join in the 24th-anniversary festivities.
