Safaricom’s Sambaza Furaha caravan, in collaboration with Royal Media Services, is currently touring Kenya to celebrate 24 years of service. 

Now in its third day, the caravan made its way through Kericho County on Wednesday, receiving a warm welcome as it traveled through Chepseon, Kedowa, and Londiani, where locals won various prizes as part of the Sambaza Furaha Krissy campaign.

Excited fans along the route received a range of gifts, including phones and household items. 

Londiani winner Patrick Arap Chepkwony, a loyal Safaricom customer since 2002, expressed his delight after receiving a goat, saying, “Christmas is now complete.” 

Another winner, David Sigilei from Kedowa, shared his happiness after winning wheat flour and cooking oil.

The tour also aims to raise awareness about Safaricom’s services across different age groups. Citizen Radio presenter Willy M Tuva noted that many young people aren’t aware of the offerings available to them through Safaricom’s S-Hook, which provides exclusive deals for youth.

Additionally, Safaricom has been educating customers on avoiding scams, with Patrick Kinoti from Safaricom urging people to verify requests for personal information, especially PINs, to avoid falling prey to fraud.

On Thursday, the caravan will continue its journey through Kipsitet, Nandi Hills, Namgoi, Kapsabet, Chepterit, Mosoriot, and Kapsere.
