The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) accuses Njue of soliciting a bribe of Ksh.130,000 with the promise of facilitating the complainant’s development of a plot valued at Ksh.15 million within Thika Town.
Njue, who also serves as the MCA for Hospital Ward, stands accused of receiving a bribe, contravening legal provisions.
The EACC arrested him on June 13, 2023, with Njue subsequently released on police bail of Ksh.100,000.
