An argument escalated into a physical altercation between Kiprotich and his wife, leading to tragic consequences.
Hours later, Kiprotich’s brother discovered his body with multiple stab wounds at their home in Eldama Ravine. Despite immediate medical attention, Kiprotich succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities, including the Sub-County Police Commander, Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit (CIPU) Commander, and officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), launched investigations.
The crime scene was sealed, and a blood-stained machete, believed to be the murder weapon, was recovered.
